Create Group

Basic Group Creation

Steps:

1. Start Creation

   • Click "+" in top right of main interface
   • Select "New Group"
   • Or create from chat interface

2. Select Members

   • Choose from contact list
   • Select at least 2 people
   • Maximum 255 people (creator counts as 1)
   • Support contact search

3. Set Group Info

   • Group name (required)
   • Group avatar (optional)
   • Group description (optional)
   • Group type selection

4. Complete Creation

   • Confirm settings
   • Automatically become group owner
   • Members receive join notification

Group Types

Normal Group:

• Any member can invite new people
• Public member list
• Suitable for friends, colleagues

Private Group:

• Only admins can invite

Member Management

Add Members:

1. Direct Invite

   • Open group info
   • Click "Add Member"
   • Select contacts

   • Generate group QR code
   • Share QR code image
   • Scan to join

Remove Members:

1. Open group member list
2. Long press member to remove
3. Select "Remove"
4. Confirm action
5. Removed member receives notification

Mute Management:

1. Individual Mute

   • Long press member avatar
   • Select "Mute"
   • Set mute duration
   • Can unmute anytime

2. Mute All

   • Group Settings → Permission Management
   • Enable "Mute All"
   • Admins can still speak
   • Suitable for important announcements

1. Speaking Permission

   • Everyone can speak

Admin Settings

Add Admin:

1. Open group info
2. Go to "Admin" settings
3. Click "Add Admin"
4. Select member
5. Confirm settings

Remove Admin:

• Owner can remove anytime
• Admins cannot resign themselves
• Becomes regular member after removal
• Previous operation records retained

Admin Count:

• Recommended 1-3 people
• Maximum 10 people

1. Open group info
